How to SUM by matching partial text in Excel

About Me

Hi, my name is Faysal and I am a Microsoft Excel user.

I fall in love of Microsoft Excel while I have started my professional life in 2012. In the beginning I found that, it has a lots of feature that saves my working time. Day after day the features are growing as I was thought and then I had decided to note down about my important tips and tricks so that it might be helpful for others people who work with Microsoft Excel and searching for help. Since then, I write blogs about Microsoft Excel and today I am really excited while I learn something new and cannot wait to share my friends, colleagues and online.

The main thing of Microsoft Excel which attracts me is that, there are many ways to do a single task. Not important that, automated or manual solution. But it has many solutions. Finding the "Ahha" way (I mean the quickest way) is like an adventure to me. I think there is no difference in between adventure vs finding the "Ahha" way.

Generally I avoid using of Excel VBA Programming. Though the power of Excel VBA is like e=mc2 but it has been found by myself in real professional life that, most of the companies do not work with Excel VBA in Bangladesh. They love to do without Excel VBA Programming. They afraid to run a Macro Workbook due to a chance of data loss intentionally if they have done something wrong.

I have shared 100+ experiences in my blog to help others which I got from my real life experience. I really enjoy working with Microsoft Excel. I always wait for learning new things and share it to my friends, colleagues and online. I feel proud when my shared ideas, shared writing have come with a positive result for others.

Let's the adventure begin today again to find something "Ahha"...
