In Excel, when you are working with a large formula then you need to expand or increase the height of Formula Bar to examine the formula. It is very difficult to examine the 2 or more lines formula in Formula Bar without increasing the height of the Formula Bar. In this tutorial I will show you how can you increase the height of your Formula Bar in Excel in 3 different ways.
Method 1: Mouse Drag
- Place your Mouse Pointer in between Formula Bar and Column Header.
- This will change your Mouse Pointer to Up-Down Arrow.
- Click and Hold your Left Mouse Key and then Drag it down.
By this way you can also collapse or decrease the height of your Formula Bar.
Method 2: Mouse Click
- Place your Mouse Pointer on Formula Bar Down Arrow icon.
- Click to increase the height of Formula Bar.
By this way you can also collapse or decrease the height of your Formula Bar.
Note: If not fully increased, then apply Mouse Drag after Clicking the Formula Bar Down Arrow icon.
Method 3: Shortcut Key: (Ctrl+Shift+U)
- Just active your current worksheet.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+U to increase the Formula Bar
By this way you can also collapse or decrease the height of your Formula Bar.
