Create A Blank New Workbook in Excel



A workbook is a file that contains one or more worksheets to help you organize data. You can create a new workbook from a blank workbook or a template. Creat a blank new workbook in excel is the first lesson to start learning Microsoft Excel.

You can create a blank workbook in many ways. Such as from Start Menu, from Taskbar, from Shortcut Key or from File Tab. In this video I have shared the most basic ways to create a blank new workbook in excel. Below are few ways to create a blank new workbook in excel:

Start Menu:
- Click on Start > Excel 2016

Shortcut Key:
- Open Excel file
- Press Ctrl + N

Create from Template:
- Select File > New
- Double-click on a template
